The Study Room opened on Church Street in the April of 2014 amidst great celebration, revitalising a very tired old establishment and turning it into something stylish and upmarket. It's a worthy venue for a midday lunch or an evening get together with a fine collection of food and beverages to suit many tastes. There's an elevated beer garden in the rear of the pub overlooking Damside Street and the whole place is decorated to resemble a very well appointed study, with displays of books and interesting trinkets.

They often have live music taking place here including Lancaster's own X-Factor finalist Paul Akister.

The Study Room also has free Wifi so it could genuinely be a place to pop along to to study, whilst you grab a bite to eat!
